Transfer a domain name in 6 simple steps
Step 1
Ensure Eligibility: Domain must be at least 60 days old (registered or last transferred over 60 days ago). Transfers within this period are not allowed per ICANN rules. Domain must not be expiring within 7 days, depending on the current registrar’s policies.
Step 2
Prepare Domain: Unlock the domain at your current registrar (so it’s not in "clientTransferProhibited" status). Disable WHOIS privacy (some registrars block transfers if privacy is enabled).
Step 3
Get the EPP (Authorisation) Code: Request this from your current registrar. It’s usually available in the domain-management panel or can be emailed to you.
Step 4
Initiate Transfer on DaMnaager: Visit DaManager Domain Transfer page, and enter the domain and its EPP code, then complete the checkout process (transfer fee applies).
Step 5
Authorise the Transfer: DaManager will/might email a confirmation link to the WHOIS admin contact. Click to approve. If your current registrar supports manual approval, you can expedite the transfer (often completing in hours instead of days).
Step 6
Wait for Completion: Standard transfer time is 5–7 days unless expedited. Your domain remains active throughout.
