While there has been some grumbling (and not without some cause), the blocky little editor that could, has gone mainstream. People have been building, writing, collating, and generally just adapting to the changes, and this post covers some important tutorials and resources for gutenberg.<\/p>\n<p>As is usual, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.da-manager.com\/web-design\">WordPress<\/a> community has gone wild, and has already developed loads of plugins for the new editor; we can\u2019t possibly list them all. Besides, so many of them add pretty much the same new blocks, or very similar blocks, so I\u2019ve decided to list only the ones that caught my eye.<\/p>\n<p>For more complete lists, see the \u201cAuthority Sites and Directories\u201d section below.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"BLOCK_GALLERY\"><\/span>BLOCK GALLERY<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>A\u00a0<a class=\"external inner-link-effect\" href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/plugins\/block-gallery\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"ile-sp\">photo gallery plugin<\/span><\/a>\u00a0that does what it says, and doesn\u2019t come with a thousand other blocks. Sure, they\u2019ve got plenty of layout options and features, but they\u2019re mostly kept light and simple as opposed to overly animated. They seem largely style-agnostic as well.<\/p>\n<p>They don\u2019t use JavaScript on the front end when they don\u2019t have to, and they provide quite good controls for custom typography. Again, does what it says, and doesn\u2019t bloat the menus.
